Scott Carter
CEO/Creative Director
Scott founded DesignCarter Interactive in 2004 and serves as its CEO and Creative Director. His career has covered all forms of advertising from web to print to web again and all mediums in between. He enjoys connecting consumers to brands through new media utilizing new technologies, trends, web standards and a variety of services to satisfy client needs with consumer demands.
While working in advertising for several years designing and deploying campaigns for online and offline media, his work has been in a variety of mediums spanning a wide array of industries for clients such as American Ironhorse Motorcycles, Dairy Queen Restaurants, Pier 1 Imports, Papa Johns, Stanley Steemer, Marriott Hotels, Cash America, The City of Dallas, Lincoln Property Company, Greystar Property Management and Omnium Realty.
Scott is an active member of American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), Art Director’s Club of New York (ADC), Dallas Society of Visual Communication (DSVC) and is a contributing member to various open source projects across the web. He also enjoys public speaking engagements for topics within the industry and is an active Art Institute alumni and speaker at numerous events.
When he’s not working on the next creative project, he’s busy keeping up on the latest industry trends while scoping out tomorrow’s, discussing usability and web standards, blogging or keeping up with his many networks in social media. Outside of the industry, Scott enjoys spending his time outdoors with sports such as rock climbing, surfing, skateboarding, skydiving, cycling and various other extreme sports. Scott’s other passion is traveling, living abroad, and embracing culture, whether he’s practicing his Spanish, French or Japanese or traveling around Europe socializing with the locals.
